All donations, big or small, go towards making the future fairer

Young Community

If you've had an Arts Emergency mentor, when you turn 18 you'll be able to join our Young Community and we'll support you until your 26th birthday.

If you have any questions about our Young Community, please contact our Community Team.

Wish List Requests

As part of the Young Community you will be able to make requests for advice from our support network which is made up of over 7,000 creative and cultural professionals from across the country.

Ask Arts Emergency

You can ask us for vouchers for resources including books, art materials or tech equipment to support your learning and development.

Ruby Ticket Events

Our Young Community can apply for tickets to a variety of cultural events provided by our generous Network members. You can apply for tickets every month via the Young Community monthly newsletter.

Peer Networking

Get onto the Young Community Discord so you can connect and collaborate with other Community members. We also organise workshops, trips and opportunities for you to meet each other.

Youth Collective

The Youth Collective is a small group young people who meet regularly to develop their own advocacy, activism and community work. If you want to get more involved with the work of Arts Emergency, every year you’ll have the chance to apply to join our Youth Collective. Look out for your chance to sign up in your monthly newsletter.

Work Experience

Our summer work experience programme is on pause this year while we review and refresh the Young Community offer. We'll still be putting opportunities in our monthly newsletters and encourage you to use the Wish List if you would like to talk to a member of our Network about something specific. Don't forget you can use Ask Arts Emergency if you need any resources to aid your studies or creative ambitions and do have a look at the resources on our website which may be of use if you need some tips on putting together your portfolio or need some guidance with writing a CV.

Promote your work

Got work you want the world to see? We have thousands of followers from across the creative industries, and we want to help get your work in front of them. Whether it’s audio, fine art, spoken word, graphics, video, writing, design, dance… anything - let’s help you get seen.

The Newsletter

The newsletter drops into your inbox every month offering news, opportunities, freebies and lots more. It's the main way we'll stay in touch with you so make sure you're subscribed. If you want to change the email address we send the newsletter to, please get in touch:
