Arts Emergency has created Codes of Conduct to describe the behaviours that we expect from the people and places we work with, as well as setting standards for ourselves.
We are a movement based on generosity and respect, and we require our staff and volunteers to treat everyone with care and dignity.
We are responsible for making sure everyone taking part in our organisation has seen, understood and agreed to follow their relevant Codes of Conduct, and that they understand the consequences of inappropriate behaviour.

Safer Spaces Statement
Together we are part of a movement to create change, this is embodied in each room we gather in. Everyone joining us in these spaces is part of a community working to widen access, share resources and transform the arts industry.
At the centre of this work is our Young Community, whose voices and experiences we value and take seriously. We recognise that age, experience and status carry power.
We are building a culture that feels different from the rooms many of us have experienced before. We will work together in a way that honours differences, encourages participation and ensures that everyone feels able to take part without pressure, discomfort or unwanted attention.
Together, we create a safer, more equitable and inclusive arts industry.
