Media Consent

General Information

We share images, videos, quotes, stories and audio to celebrate the successes of our young people and volunteers and to help raise awareness of our work and secure funding.It’s important to us that we provide a safe and enjoyable experience for every young person. To help us do this, please note the following important information:

• We will not share photographs, video or other images without the consent of the people who are identifiable or the parents or carers of under 18s.

• We will take all steps to ensure images of children are used solely for the purposes they are intended. If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform our Designated Safeguarding Officer immediately, click here for more information.

• You may withdraw your consent at any time. However, Arts Emergency may not be able to withdraw images, text, videos or audio that have already been published online or in print. To withdraw your consent, please email info@arts-emergency.org.

• This consent form is informed by several Arts Emergency policies including Data Protection, Safeguarding, and Photography and filming. Copies of these policies can be viewed here.

Your Consent

I understand and consent to the following:

• I may be photographed, quoted or filmed by Arts Emergency as outlined in its policies.

• Arts Emergency owns the rights to the media content.

Arts Emergency may share media content of and by me on the Arts Emergency website, in printed material (leaflets, posters etc), in printed and online press, in social media posts, in emails and e-newsletters, and with relevant third parties, including but not limited to press and charitable foundations, but only if their intended use does not conflict with Arts Emergency policies.

• Arts Emergency may publish my first name and age with any relevant media content of and by me.

• Arts Emergency may alter or modify the media content of and by me as they wish but that I will always be portrayed in a respectful, accurate and balanced manner.

• Arts Emergency will keep a copy of this consent response to comply with data protection law.
