Am I eligible to attend?
Anyone who is currently part of the Arts Emergency Young Community can attend.
That's anyone who's had an Arts Emergency mentor, aged 16-25.
What can I expect?
A relaxed space to connect with other young creatives, grow your network, exchange experiences and try out collaborative activities.

Who's going?
We'll post on the WhatsApp Community a few days before each event so you can see who's going and chat with attendees.

Our London Social space - The Makeshop, Starcross Street, NW1 2LY. Located on the corner of Starcross Street and N Gower Street, just 5 minutes walk from Euston Station, link to Maps here.
ACCESS: Based in the Old Maria Fidelis School Annex on Starcross Street. The front door is completely step-free and leads straight into the ground-floor workshop. The nearest fully wheelchair-accessible Tube station to Euston is King’s Cross St. Pancras.
Our Greater Manchester Social space - Altogether Otherwise, Hanover Street, M4 4BB. Located behind Shudehill Bus Station, on the corner of Hanover Street and Riga Street in Manchester City Centre, link to Maps here.
ACCESS: Once you’re inside, there’s a sturdy wooden ramp that takes you from the front door down into the one of the main spaces. The venue is very open-plan and easy to navigate, including the garden and the accessible toilet. If you’re coming by train or tram, Victoria Station is just a few minutes away and Shudehill is the nearest tram stop.
Our Merseyside Social space - DoES Liverpool, 68-76 Kempston Street, L3 8HL in Liverpool. First floor in The Tapestry building (look out for the sign), link to Maps here.
ACCESS: This venue is fully step-free and sits right at street level, so you can head straight in. They've kept the workshop layout as open as possible, with plenty of room between the benches so you can get around the kit and use the space independently. There’s a dedicated accessible toilet on-site, and you can find more specific details on their website right here.
Each space is creative workspace (used for things like wood-working, painting, or set building), there can sometimes be cables or materials on the floor during active workshops, we ask you to be careful when entering each venue. We are committed to making our Socials as accessible as possible, and are aware access needs may clash.
