Hello, My name is Adjoa and I work as a Researcher on African politics.
I have always been interested in the ways that we organise and govern ourselves, and this led me to studying politics first in sixth form and then at university.
I’d be very interested in meeting young people who, like me, have an interest in subjects which are not necessarily vocational. I know that without the support I received in my final years of school I would not have found about the alternative careers which are available, and could have ended up working in quite a different field.
Now, when studying at university is so expensive, I think it is important for young people to be exposed to the full range of opportunities that are out there, which is why I would love to become an Arts Emergency mentor.
